Historical Armory is proud to pay tribute each year to the American Firefighter. This year our theme is "Wildland Firefighters." Through the years, our rifles have delighted firefighters with a high quality keepsake and helped departments raise desperately needed funds through local fundraising efforts. With our personalization program, our rifles have marked the years of service of a retiring firefighter, and sadly, honored the loss of others in the line of duty. Of all the editions we make, the annual Firefighter Edition is a project we always pour our hearts into. What comes from our efforts is a picture of how we and all Americans see you, The Authentic American Hero.

Wildfires are undoubtedly one of nature’s most dangerous and unpredictable events, incinerating thousands of acres of America’s forests, grasslands, and backcountry every year. When sparked by lightning far from populated areas, wildfires are often allowed to burn without interference as an essential element in maintaining healthy forest ecosystems. In other cases, a carelessly discarded cigarette butt or smoldering campfire can erupt into a roaring conflagration that threatens lives, land, and property in America’s wild places. When that happens, highly-skilled wildland firefighters are the first and last line of defense against the menacing flames. Utilizing a variety of specialized equipment and tactics including chainsaws, Pulaski fire tools, drip torches, helicopters, and air tankers, wildland firefighters work tirelessly to contain wildfires and protect communities across America, all while enduring tremendous personal risk.

This year's annual edition is limited to only 25 edition numbers per state on models H001, H004 Golden Boy .22 and the H009B 30-30, all made in America by Henry Repeating Arms Company. Your rifle will be engraved with original art depicting our 2014 theme "Wildland Firefighters" on the butt stock and both side of the receiver. The forearm stock will be engraved with your specific state on one side and "Fighting Fire with Fire - The Best Never Rest" on the other.

Only one edition number is available per buyer, but you can create a set by purchasing all three models with your edition number.

Features

Each Special Limited Edition Rifle is available on the American-made Henry .30/30 (H009B), Golden Boy .22LR (H004) and Standard .22LR (H001) and features the following:

  • Detailed engraving on both sides of the American walnut forearm, with a state-specific banner on the right side and "Fighting Fire with Fire - The Best Never Rest" in the banner on the left side.

  • The right side of the American walnut buttstock is engraved with an intricate, original piece of artwork that depicts the 2014 theme "Wildland Firefighters".

  • The left side of the American walnut buttstock is reserved for personalization, for an extra fee.

  • Finally, both sides of the receiver are engraved with elaborate artwork depicting the same theme. Each rifle is individually numbered on the receiver: 1 of 25, 2 of 25 and so on.
